Huiles de Table

Our huiles de table ("table oils") serve as a first-choice seasoning for every meal, not only for their natural therapeuthic properties but also to enhance the taste of every dish with a subtle note of hemp:

- Our O. Oil is mainly made out of organic olive oil with a light touch of both organic hempseed oil and organic hemp (Cannabis sativa) inflorescence essential oil; and

- Our 2/3-1/3 is just a blend of 1/3 organic hempseed oil with 2/3 organic olive oil. While our 2/3-1/3 is somehow reminiscent of mayonaise once added to dishes; the omega 3 & 6 of hempseed oil balance with the naturally rich omega 9 content of olive oil.

O. Oil

Ingredients: organic extra virgin olive oil; organic hempseed oil; organic hemp inflorescence essential oil.

Our O. Oil consists of organic olive oil, organic hempseed oil and pure organic hemp essential oil. Perfect for everyday use; our O. Oil subtly enhances the taste of olive oil with both nutty as well as floral hemp notes.

Olive oil is mainly made of monounsaturated fatty acids which signifies that it is rich in the omega-9 fatty acid. On the other hand, hempseed oil is a more balanced oil when it comes to essential fatty acids, since it contains a 3-to-1 ratio of omega-6 and omega-3.

Since very few foods contain omega-3 which are important for the functioning of both the brain and the skin; the use of hempseed oil is recommended as part of a healthy and balanced diet; at least as much as olive oil, if not more!...

The minimal amount of hemp essential oil suffices to deliver numerous active principles for the well-being, as well as an enhanced flavor for the taste buds, for the joy of both the young and the old alike!

Both our hemp & olive trees are cultivated in Haute Provence, France.

2 /3  -  1 /3

Ingredients : organic extra virgin olive oil ; organic hempseed oil.

The complementary reunion of olive oil and hempseed oil results in a third type of product we like to call 2/3-1/3. Once mixed in with the food, our 2/3-1/3 oil produces a texture and taste close to those of mayonnaise.

Gomasio

Our Algomegasio is available in 50 and 100 g glass containers, inside the Shop section.

Our Algomegasio is available in 100 and 200 g at the Online Store.

Ingredients: toasted sprouted organic hemp seeds, toasted organic sesame seeds, organic nori, salt.

Gomasio (also spelled gomashio, hiragana: ごま塩) is a traditional Japanese dry condiment made from unhulled sesame seeds (ごま, goma) and salt (塩, shio). It is usually sprinkled over plain rice, but can also be used with salad, soup, pastas or else.

More recently, the term algomasio has been applied to gomasio with seaweed; while the term omegasio has emerged to describe gomasio with omega-packed hemp seeds. Hence we use the term algomegasio, in order to refer to gomasio which contains both seaweed and hemp seeds!

In macrobiotic cuisine, gomasio is used as a healthier alternative to ordinary salt.
